Hi Everyone!
The Design Institute of Australia announced the winners
this week of their 2010 Australasian Student Design Awards.
Winner of the Fashion Design component was Carol Faulkner
from Sydney TAFE followed by a trifecta for QUT -
Second prize went to Priya Cox, Third Prize to Lauren Clarke
and a Commendation to Robyn Taggart.
Priya, Lauren and Robyn are all currently exhibiting pieces
from their graduate collections at Artisan.
The DIA also awarded recent graduates in Textile, Furniture,
Industrial and Interior Design.

We are off to Rosemount Australian Fashion Week next week,
to preview more Australasian designer collections for our
Spring/Summer 2010/11.
It's always a little bit crazy as we squeeze in runway shows
and showroom appointments - but always soooo much fun.
This year RAFW celebrates it's 15th anniversary and YES,
I have been to every single one!
International guests will include a couple of my favourite writers
like Susie Lau from Stylebubble and Tim Blanks from Style.com
Also returning for more fun in the sun is Phil Oh from the popular
Streetpeeper website.
I'm going to squeeze as much in to the week as possible,
including some daily blogging for Pedestrian.tv AAAGH!
