Hi Everyone!
I have spent nearly two full days at QUT this
week locked down with the 3rd year fashion
students.
It makes a nice change from being in the store
(nearly) every day and it's wonderful to see
ideas and collections brewing.
Last night, we went to Fashioned - Unleashed
at Artisan which is exhibiting work from some
of Queensland's most recent and exciting
design graduates.
I'd never seen the gallery so packed as friends,
family and supporters came out in force
for a parade and static display of work.
BV's own Lauren Clarke was selected for
the exhibition, along with Priya Cox, Robyn Taggart,
Alice Leahy, Jeremy Gills, Tovah Cottle, Heidi Stevens,
Jacque Prior, Laurence St Pierre, Melanie Kate Foote
and Pamela Cameron.
The exhibition runs until June 5th.

Brooklyn Museum called American High Style: Fashioning
a National Collection.

Anzac Weekend Trading Hours
Here's the trading hours for both Blonde Venus
and The Outpost for the long weekend -
Saturday 24th - open 10am to 6pm
Sunday 25th - closed
Monday 26th - 11am to 3pm
We are going to see The Bats play on Saturday night.
Remember that everywhere will close at midnight
for Anzac Day.
