HI Everyone!
The Laneway Festival was good fun despite the rain.
At least it was much cooler and it's a nice small festival, meaning that it's
very easy to navigate.
Total Control
My favourite band of the day was Total Control followed by Yuck and
The Drums were loads of fun too with the whole crowd dancing and singing along.
Hats off to the eatery that had the Montville Organic Coffee.
Delicious!
I'm actually in Kingscliff at this moment trying to get some
time out, but apparently no rest for the..."small business owner"!

It certainly is a sleepy village here but I've had fun exploring Cabarita,
Pottsville, Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay, plenty of ocean swims,
reading ( thanks to Miranda July) DVD's (Bacall, Grable, Tierney, Bisset & Bergen thanks
to ideal husband Chris Salter)
I missed the preview of Shame this week (heard that it was quite explicit?)
but I did finally see Hugo in Byron and loved it.
What a magical tribute to the birth of film.
The Artist opens this week and can't wait to see it.
The trailer reminds me of the fabulous Thin Man movies from
the 1930's starring William Powell and Myrna Loy -
