The current issue of London's i-D Magazine includes a great feature on the Carhartt
Work in Progress line and the second ever magazine interview with the company's
owner Edwin Faeh.
Edwin describes his motivation for starting the company "In the 1990's, rappers, skaters and
rockers were pioneering new 'utility clothing'.
Bringing Carhartt to Europe, I built my company around skateboarding and
the independents.
We supported niche music like drum'n'bass, showing the heritage of our goods in a
contemporary way."

Boys and their bikes.
Well at least it keeps them...busy.
It's taken a few years for the bike phenomenon to REALLY take off
in Brisbane but it has finally happened.
I guess the climate and the hills haven't really helped!
Domestique is a cool and extremely limited collection from passionate
riders in Sydney that didn't want to wear traditional bike sportswear.
My favourite design is the embroidered t-shirt, inspired by the classic RL Polo shirt.

Brisbane band Last Dinosaurs played at our FRED PERRY party a couple of years ago
as a young, up and coming band.
I saw they're latest video on Rage last Friday night so they are obviously doing well!
They are playing at Woodland tonight as part of a huge Australian tour.
