What's New at Blonde Venus?

Hi Everyone!

There's lots of fashion stuff brewing in Brisbane at the moment.

I have again been in lock down with the 3rd year QUT Fashion Students
this week, where they must have been working like
demons because they are excelling themselves.

The Mercedes Brisbane Fashion Festival launched their dates
and new website last week and you may think that August 7th
is a long way away, but it will come back around faster
than a bengaline bootleg.

The programme is huge and will again include my favourites,
the Fashion Graduate of The Year Award and the QUT "Fashion
After Hours" Events, one at which Susien Chong and Nic Briand
from Lover will be panellists.
I can't wait for that one!
For all information and tickets, head to:

Also opening on the 7th of August, is the Valentino Exhibition
at GoMA, which the whole world seems to be talking about.
That first week of August is going to be a busy time at every boutique, hair salon
and beauty parlour in town ;)
