Hi Everyone!
A big thank you to Chanel for the beautiful evening that they hosted
at Old Government House to launch their Resort 12 collection.
It was an immaculate party.
My personal highlight was Emma Balfour in the Runway Show which
was style by Brisbane's Kimberly Gardner.
I also loved the white astro turf on the front lawn and of course the Perrier-Jouet!
Front Row with Jacinta Apelt, Ingrid Richards and Adrian Spence.

I made it to the QUT grad show on two nights.
It was so great to see everything finished and on the Runway
and everyone really let their hair down on Friday night.
If you weren't able to make it along, here is a link to Michael Reve's sight
with all of the show photos -
Here's is a peak at one of my favourite collections by Dana Moore and it's menswear.
The guys often miss out and this was the only dedicated
menswear collection out of all the graduates and I love it - so modern!
PS The models are also amazing!
The summer season has kicked off at GoMA.
On Monday Lauren Clarke and I viewed the Yayoi Kusama exhibition.
I love, love, love her big, glossy, colourful flower sculptures.
Maybe Brisbane City Council could purchase these for public art?
They would certainly brighten up our streets / days.
The Kusama Polka Dot Room.
Lauren plan's her move while I pounced on some white space in the corner!
You MUST also go down to the Children's Art Centre and escape into the magical fairytale world of
We Miss You Magic Land...
It's made of sugary treats and it's just about the cutest thing ever!
We also looked through the Textile Exhibition and luckily had Brisbane Textile Artist Felicity Clarke
with us to explain the dynamics of the work.
We didn't have enough time to go through the Matisse Exhibition but spied into the Drawing Room
which looks positively dreamy...
The summer programme which celebrates the gallery's 5th Anniversary is on until early March.

Cheap Monday launched their Eyewear collection close to a year ago and
we have had nothing but great feedback all year long.
The shapes are cool, modern, flattering and at $50 a pair, they are fantastic value too.
Each pair comes with a soft drawstring pouch that doubles as a lens cleaner.
This latest delivery features new colours in their most popular shapes.
Cheap Monday Eyewear in store now at The Outpost.
Win Tickets to see Melancholia
This stunning film by avant garde director Lars von Trier
was my pick of the week at the Brisbane International Film Festival.
How can a story about the end of the world be so beautiful?
I guess that Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kirsten Dunst make it seem prettier.

I saw Kurt Vile play a sold out show at Woodland last night and it was fun but late, late late
and I think I may still be recovering from the infamous White Party from last weekend?!
It's good to feel festive though ;)
See you soon!
