Kim Salmon's performance there was such an experience.
He performed on a "floating stage" out on the gallery's
famous water mall, with the giant concrete wall as his
backdrop and the open expanse of the gallery made
an incredible setting.
Tonight, you can see J Walker (Machine Translations)
perform his catchy and melodic guitar pop sounds.
The Melbourne artist has previously supported international
acts including Teenage Fanclub, Lloyd Cole, Mogwai
and The Dirty Three.

The Museum of Brisbane held the launch for their new
exhibition In Fashion last Thursday night - what a huge
party!
Over 600 guests turned out in their finest new and vintage
cocktail attire to essentially celebrate fashion in Brisbane.
...with friends Karen and Francis at the MoB In Fashion opening
I decided to celebrate past and present by wearing a 1988 dress by Brisbane
label Belltower, mixing it with a Tina Kalivas Tuxedo Jacket
from 2003 and more recent accessories - a Roksanda Ilincic hair comb
and a bag by Undercover.

Richard Nicoll has established some signature looks through
his collections but every season has been a wonderful
surprise, telling a new story and showing his extraordinary
skill.
This collection incorporates a delicious palette of cream,
nude, shell pink, buttermilk, soft grey and white.
He has combined silhouettes from the 20's 60's and 80's
with corsetry details and his continuing shirt aesthetic.
The surprise has been in his artful and precise layering
of fabrics using the curvy female form or the sharp
shirt depending on the piece, to create lines and shadows.

the season including pieces in the Linder Sterling prints.
