of family fun.
It was fantastic.

The third year students of QUT's BA in Fine Art/ Fashion start evolving the concept
of their graduate collections at the beginning of the year so I actually saw the
early stages of this collection WAY BACK in February.
Brett showed this collection on the Runway in November and added these fantastic
tote bags.
As he had decided not to launch his RTW collection at this stage, I asked Brett
if he would make some of his fabulous bags for us...

Anthony McMonagle is currently sleeping in my shop.
To be truthful, it is actually 6 large scale images of him sleeping,
but as I walk around the store and catch sight of his self portraits,
I feel like he is there.
Anthony graduated recently in Photography at Queensland College
of Art and it was at the graduate show that I fell in love with his clever
folio collection.
They are clean, modern images with an architectural perspective.
The surprise is in the content which is a contrast of humour, discomfort
and serenity.
You want to laugh but you want to sleep!
Anthony's images are exhibiting in Blonde Venus until the end of January.
